Coastal Athletics

Mission Statement

The Coastal Athletics program seeks to develop and nourish the fundamental skills required of basketball players between the ages of twelve and eighteen. The program emphasizes the basic skills necessary to be a successful basketball player and focuses on developing teams of good character while on the hardwood.

Director Matt Marani

Matt Marani is currently the girls varsity basketball coach and a math teacher at Norwell High School. He served as an assistant varsity basketball coach at South Shore Vocational High School and North Quincy High School. He is also an assistant coach for the Norwell High School football team.

He has been running the Coastal Athletic Program since 2004.

Coach Marani is a native of Hanover, MA and a graduate of Boston College High School (1999) and Saint Anselm College (2003). He currently resides in Pembroke, MA.
